If I have a 2012 mustang gt with the base steering wheel (the black plastic one with no buttons) and replaced it with the leather steering wheel with controls, would replacing the clock spring make the buttons work?

  • No, the clock spring is mainly to make the airbag work. There would still be wiring for those buttons to the radio and cruise control that is missing.

    Perfect fit

There's not really much to say besides it being a perfect fit. Did exactly what was expected from it. Installation did have a few set backs but simply from not having previous experience in this area of the car. Recommended!
