Will this part fit a 92 gt? They discontinued the production for the fox body's.

  • Unfortunately, the OPR Air Bag Clockspring will not for you 1992 Mustang. We currently do not carry one for your specific fitment.

I have a 1994 GT coupe and I am having trouble finding a air bag clockspring for this year. Will this work or is there a wiring difference from the 1994 to 1995?

  • Because of the severity of the airbag and I'm not going to recommend installing anything but the OEM replacement for the clock spring. I know its easier said than done, but doing anything around can cause accidents or incidents.

Dear Sirs: I have a Mustang GT 1995, 8 Cylinders 5.0 Convertible, Cruise Control, A/C. Automatic. VIN 1FALP45T9SF166705 and I need to buy the Clockspring Airbag. I disarmed the rudder and the part number it has is: F5ZC - 14A664 - AA. In their announcement they say that their clockspring is compatible with F6ZZ 14A664-AA which is not the same number that my Mustang has. Tell me if it is different or it fits perfectly because I do not want to have problems of returns. Thank you for your time, I am waiting for your response.

  • This clockspring will work perfectly fine on your 95 GT.

Will this work on my 1994 cobra?

  • This will not work on the 1994 Cobras as the wiring is different from those of the 1995-1998 models.

    Worked great

Install is not the easiest, but a shade tree guy like myself can pull it off with no issues.

This was a great fit on my 1997 mustang. I replaced this part because my airbag light was on. My cruise control and horn weren't working. This is something you could change yourself, I looked it up on you tube. Anyway, I put it in myself and I'm happy with it. My cruise control and horn now function and that annoying airbag light is gone.
