Description
Product Functionality and Benefits. The Allstar Performance Radiator Cap 16PSI is designed to maintain higher pressure within the vehicle's cooling system, which elevates the boiling point of the coolant. This helps prevent overheating under demanding operating conditions by ensuring optimal coolant performance. It is intended for use in standard radiator necks and supports both recovery and non-recovery cooling systems.
Construction and Appearance. This radiator cap is made from durable materials suitable for high-pressure environments. It provides a secure fit on 2-1/8" outside diameter radiator necks with a 3/4 inch depth. The finish is designed to resist corrosion and wear, delivering reliable long-term performance in the engine compartment.
Installation. Installation is simple and usually does not require special tools or modifications. The radiator cap replaces the existing cap, fitting securely on the radiator neck without the need for drilling or additional adjustments.
Application. Fits universal radiator necks measuring 2-1/8" O.D. by 3/4" depth; however, some adaptation may be necessary based on specific vehicle configurations or cooling system designs.
