The Anderson Composites Decklid Carbon Fiber replaces the factory decklid with a lightweight and strong carbon fiber alternative designed to reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity and enhancing the vehicle’s aesthetics. This product is ideal for enthusiasts seeking performance gains without compromising style or durability.
Construction and Appearance. This decklid is crafted using a vacuum infused process with 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, ensuring consistent weave patterns and an optimal carbon/resin ratio for superior strength and stiffness. A marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to achieve a high gloss, protective finish that resists sun damage and maintains a premium look.
Installation. Installation requires removal of the original decklid, which is then replaced and aligned before reinstalling the glass. Minor adjustments may be necessary for proper fitment. Professional installation is recommended for best results, and the product mounts with OE hardware (not included).
