      High-Performance Carbon Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-SS Hood Carbon Fiber is designed to replace the factory hood on 2005-2009 Mustang GT and V6 models. It enhances vehicle performance by reducing weight and improving engine bay ventilation while maintaining a stylish appearance. This product provides a durable and lightweight solution that appeals to enthusiasts focused on both aesthetics and functionality.

      Construction and Appearance. This hood is crafted using a vacuum infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth for superior strength and stiffness. It features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors that protect the surface and deliver a polished, high-gloss finish. The design incorporates a Cobra R heritage power bulge and Saleen style heat extractors for improved engine cooling and distinct styling.

      Installation. Installation may require minor modifications for proper fitment of OE windshield washer spray nozzles, fluid lines, and mounting tabs. It is recommended that the hood be installed by an experienced professional to ensure perfect alignment and function without drilling.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 2005-2009 Mustang GT and V6 models, this hood does not fit the GT500 variant and requires proper use of hood pins and a heat shield for safe operation.
