Description
High-End Appearance. Replacing your Ford Mustang's stock hood with Anderson Composites' Carbon Fiber Type-TS Hood will provide an immediate boost in your Pony's overall appearance. Thanks to the hood's muscular design that is perfect to provide that hardcore, aggressive style you've been looking for so your Mustang will finally get the attention it deserves.
Heat Extractors. Not only will this hood dramatically upgrade your Mustang's overall appearance, but it also features heat extractors that boost its performance so you can easily zoom ahead of the pack. These heat extractors effectively pull unwanted hot air from your Pony's engine bay, allowing the engine to run cooler and providing more power than ever before.
Carbon Fiber Construction. In order to provide an undeniably muscular look, this hood is finished with a powerful black coat that will turn heads wherever you go. Built from carbon fiber for ideal dependability and durability, the hood is also strong enough to remain reliable for a long time to come. To avoid slamming or dropping, the hood should be used with a hood prop rod and requires a heat shield and hood pins for safety reasons.
Direct Installation. Installing this hood takes about 1 hour for professionals. Although reinstalling gas shocks/dampers/struts is not recommended, modifications may be necessary for correct fitment of OE windshield washer spray nozzles and fluid lines. If you choose to paint this hood, it is highly recommended to test fit on your Mustang.
