    Performance Upgrade. Prevent a crankshaft failure when installing a new harmonic balancer (crankshaft damper) in your Mustang by replacing your old stock bolt with an ARP Harmonic Balancer bolt and washer kit. The ARP Balancer Bolt that offers maximum clamping force to ensure that the balancer is locked in place.

    Premium Quality. This ARP Harmonic Balancer Bolt is made in the USA from 8740 chromoly and hardened to a tensile strength of 200,000 psi to provide reliable performance. The bolt is heat treated and then rolled to provide optimum fatigue strength. Includes 1/4-inch thick wide-area washer.

    Application. This ARP Harmonic Balancer Bolt and Washer are designed for use with 1996-2004 Mustangs equipped with the modular 4.6L V8 engine, including the GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models.

      Works great

      Perfect fit. Much easier to torque with the 12 point socket rather than the six. Used with steeda under drive pullies and install was a breeze.

      Does not work with Aftermarket Balancers

      I bought this to go along with an innovators West balancer. The bolt was too short! Fyi

      Great Upgrade, High Quality

      I installed this bolt when I upgraded to the Steeda Underdrive pulleys and I would definitely recommend this product especially when changing the balancer. Includes thread lubricant to ensure proper torque and is of superior quality over the OEM bolt. As noted in other reviews it requires a 18mm 12 point socket and is great because the 12 point head is preferred on a bolt in a high torque app like this. An installation note is if you have a manual put the trans in 5th gear first and then use a breaker bar to remove the old bolt. Thanks again AM great product and service!.

      Great product

      I needed a balancer bolt that does not need to be replaced every time it is removed. Great product, perfect fit and comes with the required thread lubricant. Requires an 18mm 12-point socket for installation. Thanks AM.

      A must have improvement

      When installing my underdrive pulleys, I replaced the factory torque to yield Balancer bolt with a much stronger and easier to install ARP Balancer bolt.

      Great Product

      Great product. I'm currently using it in my forged Teksid build. I'm still assembling the engine, but it has been great helping me put parts on and turning the rotating assembly when required. Can't wait to get the engine running with this part. And since it's ARP, it will last a long time.

      ARP Crank Bolt

      Great piece like always from ARP. Fast shipping from AM's part. Received it in 2 days from when the order was placed (over the phone). Happy with the customer service. Cheapest place I found online and I am a huge bargain shopper lol This is perfect because these crank bolts are normally TTY (torque to yield) ARP made this so it can be reused. So if you are going to be doing work in the future, invest in this!
