Description
High-Performance Front Brake Kit. The Extreme+ Front Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and enhanced brake modulation for high-performance driving and track use. It replaces the factory front brakes with a more capable system that promotes improved heat dissipation, pedal feel, and overall braking consistency under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features a one-piece monoblock caliper meticulously CNC machined from a US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging. The caliper is finished with a durable powder coat in silver for corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal. Stainless steel pistons and hardware ensure reliability and longevity, while the two-piece rotor incorporates a zinc-plated, slotted, and drilled design with a billet aluminum hat for strength and efficient heat management.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and basic tools, with no additional drilling necessary as it fits directly onto original equipment front spindles and hubs. The kit includes all mounting hardware and stainless braided hoses to simplify the upgrade process.
Application. This brake kit is specifically designed to fit 2014 through 2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 models. It fits only the front axle and requires wheels with a minimum diameter of 19 inches due to rotor size.
