High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer Brakes 15" Extreme+ Rear Brake Kit is designed to deliver superior stopping power for your vehicle's rear axle. It offers enhanced braking performance through a combination of a powerful 6-piston caliper and a ventilated, slotted rotor that efficiently dissipate heat while ensuring consistent brake pad contact under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features a 1-piece monoblock 6S caliper CNC machined from US sourced 2618 aluminum forging for durability and weight savings. The kit includes stainless steel pistons and abutments with dual dust, weather, and pressure seals to maintain long-lasting performance. The rotor is a 2-piece drilled and slotted zinc-plated disc with a billet aluminum hat, offering excellent heat management while resisting corrosion, finished in a silver powder-coated caliper for a refined look.
Installation. The kit is designed to bolt directly onto OE knuckles and hubs, facilitating a straightforward installation with no drilling required. Installation difficulty is moderate, suitable for experienced enthusiasts or professionals familiar with brake system upgrades.
Application. This kit fits the rear axle of the 2014-2019 Chevy Corvette C7 model exclusively and requires a minimum 19-inch wheel diameter to ensure proper clearance and fitment.
