Description
Performance Suspension Upgrade. The BC Racing DS Series Coil-Over Kit is a high-performance suspension system designed to improve handling and cornering stability with track-focused, digressive valving dampers. It provides adjustable damping and height settings, allowing users to tailor ride characteristics to their preferences and driving conditions. This kit enhances vehicle control and responsiveness, making it ideal for enthusiasts seeking precision primarily on track but also suitable for street use.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with an anodized alloy casing and CNC machining, these coilovers feature a durable satin chrome finished shock body. The kit uses an enlarged cylinder and a newly developed piston for improved performance, paired with SAE9254 steel racing springs. A T6061 alloy locking ring ensures secure adjustment, while the monotube design maximizes shock absorber efficiency and longevity. The DS design incorporates digressive valving, which provides enhanced stability and better cornering response compared to conventional linear valving.
Installation. Installation involves using rubber top mounts on the front and rear (with some vehicles requiring reuse of factory rear upper mounts). The kit is designed for use with vehicles equipped with Magnetic Ride Control and requires no modifications to fit.
Warranty. This coilover kit comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty, providing assurance of product quality and support.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the Chevrolet Camaro SS equipped with Magnetic Ride Control from model year 2016 to current, without modification.
