Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com here with another killer creation from our vinyl shop, here with the inner hood stripes fitting all 2013 and newer Mustangs, available in your choice of either matte black, gloss black, silver, or white. As you can see this vinyl design is pretty unique, I’d say it was a GT500 or lemans inspired design with a little bit of a twist, whereas the traditional stripes typically run down the center of the hood, this kit from AmericanMuscle graphics brings those stripes out, and runs them down the side of the factory power bulge, located on the 13 and 14 hoods. In doing so these stripes highlight the factory hood vents on all 13 and 14 cars, by offering a noticeable contrast. We do have the matte black version installed on our 2014 grabber blue GT, and as you can see they really do make those hood vents pop. Install wise, this has to be one of the easier products to tackle, simply because you have a couple of different guides to work with. Before you get started, you want to make sure you’re not doing this out in direct sun, or in extreme hot or cold temperatures. In addition you want to make sure you have your spray bottle filled with a soap and water mixture, and the included squeegee. Your first step is to get the stripe lined up using the hood vent as your starting point, once you have that in place, make sure the stripe is running parallel with the bulge on your hood, and that’s it, everything else should be pretty straightforward. If you take your time and follow the detailed instructions, you should be wrapped up in a couple of hours.
