How to Install Tail Light Trim on you 2005-2009 Mustang

**Before You Start Inspect Your Parts for Any Flaws**

1. Use a damp shop towel to clean any excess dust or dirt from the tail lights.

2. After drying off the tail lights completely, use the Isopropyl Alcohol or the Alcohol Prep Pads to clean the tail lights of any contaminates. This will create a good bonding surface for the 3M mounting tape.

3. Prepare the Part to Mount Peel the red plastic backer from the 3M mounting tape. If you have trouble removing the backer you can carefully slip the tip of an Xacto Knife under the backer to help peel it up.

4. Carefully align the trim with the grooves on the tail light.

5. Once aligned, press the trim into place making sure to firmly press all over the trim to insure the 3M mounting tape fully adheres to the tail light surface.

6. You should now have the first side installed and should look as such. Repeat steps 1, 2, &3 for the other side.

7. When finished, you will have added some nice detail to your ride and taken it from the plain factory look to a classic looking finish.
