The 164-tooth ring gear and 11.4-inch bolt pattern ensure precise fitment and reliable engagement with the starter motor.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no specialized drilling or modification. It replaces the original flexplate using existing mounting holes matching the six crankshaft bolts, making it suitable for experienced enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Application. This flexplate fits 1982-1995 5.0L Mustang models and other Ford Small Block 302 vehicles equipped with externally balanced 50-ounce imbalance engines and the AOD automatic transmission.
