How to Install BMR Rear Lower Control Arms & Vertical Link Package (15-17 All) on your Ford Mustang

Tools Required
  • Hydraulic jack and jack stands
  • Wrenches – 15mm, 18mm, 19mm

INSTALLATION:

1. Lift the rear of the vehicle and safely support  with jack stands under the cradle.  

2. Using an 18mm wrench, remove the lower  bolt on the vertical link as shown in IMAGE  1.  

3. Remove the top bolt using a 15mm wrench.  Remove vertical link.  

4. Install the BMR vertical link using the factory  lower bolt and the BMR supplied upper bolt  and washer. Use a 19mm wrench to tighten  the new upper bolt.  

5. Torque the lower bolt to 129 ft/lbs and the  upper bolt to 81 ft/lbs.  

6. Re-install the wheel/tire and lower the  vehicle.
