Description
Driveshaft Support Upgrade. The Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Carrier Upgrade with street/soft bushings enhances the driveline by replacing the factory rubber carrier support that tends to wear and sag. This upgrade improves alignment and reduces drivetrain slop for a more responsive and precise driveline feel during shifts and throttle changes.
Construction And Appearance. This assembly features a durable two-part carrier designed to clamp securely around the OEM bearing. It replaces the worn rubber support bushings with stiffer street or track options, balancing noise and vibration control with performance. The finish is engineered to withstand harsh operating conditions and long-term use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require removing or disassembling the driveshaft. However, the OEM carrier must be cut off, and minor disassembly such as removal or lowering of exhaust components and heat shields around the center support bearing is necessary.
Application. Specifically designed to fit all 6th generation Camaro models from 2016 through 2024, including both V6 and V8 engines, all trim levels, and both manual and automatic transmissions, ensuring comprehensive compatibility with the Camaro lineup.
