It replaces or supplements mechanical belt-driven pumps, enhancing engine power, torque, and fuel economy by reducing parasitic drag on the engine.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable Nylon 66 with 30% glass fill for strength and resilience, the pump features a ceramic face seal for long-lasting durability. It weighs 920 grams and incorporates a precision clockwise centrifugal impeller housed in a volute chamber to ensure efficient coolant flow.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is relatively straightforward. The pump is not self-priming, so minor adaptations such as drilling holes in the thermostat plate may be necessary to maintain coolant circulation when the thermostat is closed.
