Description

The Davies Craig EWP150 Alloy Remote Electric Water Pump and Controller Combo Kit; 12-Volt provides highly efficient engine cooling by replacing or supplementing the mechanical water pump. Designed for remote installation in the engine bay, it suits high-performance engines including turbocharged and supercharged setups by managing excessive heat and intercooler applications.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The pump is constructed from powder-coated aluminium providing durability and corrosion resistance, with AN-16 ORB threaded inlet and outlet fittings for secure connections. The digital controller features a monochrome LCD screen housed in a robust enclosure, ensuring clear temperature readouts and status indicators. Overall, the design balances ruggedness with precise electronic control.
INSTALLATION. Installation typically requires removal or modification of the existing mechanical water pump. Some applications may require minor drilling, such as modifying the thermostat plate to enable coolant circulation when the thermostat is closed, ensuring optimal pump function.
