      Description

      Better Fuel Efficiency Through Precision Air-Fuel Ratio Control. The Throttle Position Sensor continuously monitors the angle of the throttle plate, allowing the Engine Control Module (ECM) to precisely adjust the fuel injection rate. In a 3.4L Camaro, this real-time feedback optimizes the air-fuel mixture, reducing unnecessary fuel delivery during light throttle or cruising conditions.

      Greater Acceleration Response and Driveability. Throttle lag? Not with a working TPS. The Throttle Position Sensor detects even the slightest changes in pedal position and tells the ECM to respond instantly. In performance terms, your 3.4L V6 gets a snappier throttle response, especially during sudden accelerations or passing maneuvers.

      Accurate Idle Speed Control and Stability. In the Camaro’s ECM logic, the Throttle Position Sensor works in tandem with the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve to maintain a stable idle. By identifying when the throttle is fully closed, it allows the ECM to properly regulate air bypassing the throttle plate.

      Better Transmission Shift Timing. If you're rocking an automatic 3.4L Camaro, the Throttle Position Sensor plays a key role in shift logic. The transmission control system uses throttle position data to decide when to shift gears. A properly functioning TPS ensures smoother, more appropriately timed gear changes.

      Installation. Putting this Throttle Position Sensor on your 3.4L Camaro takes 20 minutes to install.
