      Description

      Carbon Fiber Conversion. The V.2 Splitter Support Rod Conversion Kit upgrades existing splitter support rods by replacing the center tubes with high-quality real carbon fiber versions. This conversion provides a lightweight, strong upgrade with an attractive finish, while maintaining the original rod's function. Installation is designed to be straightforward and quick, requiring minimal tools.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from real carbon fiber, the center tubes feature a UV-resistant clear coat that protects against discoloration and contamination. The finish delivers a glossy, refined look consistent with automotive painted surfaces.

      Installation. Installation involves removing the locking nut and washer with a 10mm socket ratchet, loosening the top Allen-head bolt to rotate the rod upward, sliding off the original center tube, and replacing it with the carbon fiber tube. No drilling is required, and the process can typically be completed in under five minutes. Use blue Loctite on the Allen-head bolt during reinstallation, reuse the original lower washer, and replace the locking nut with the included one-time use replacement.

      Application. This kit is approved for use only on V.2 adjustable splitter support rods. It fits these rods specifically but some minor adaptation may be necessary for installation.
