I am by no means a mechanic, and I have basic tools. This was an easy install completed in approximately an hour. Would have been quicker with the proper tools and smaller hands.

        Paxton’s flimsy plastic tanks sucks

I consider this a mandatory upgrade for the Vortech/Paxton kits. Don’t let the cheap plastic tank strand you on the side of the road

        5 2006 GT - Lenny

Good bye blown out plastic tank.

I'm not in it for looks but more so for performance and this tank is the real deal. Maybe if my TIG skills were awesome I would fab my own; but for the price it bolts right in without issue and looks like it belongs with the 600 rwhp machine!

        canton tank

needed this to replace the stock plastic one from vortech. i had heard bad reports of the plastic unit leaking after time and i drive my car around 10,000 miles a year and didn't want to take any chance of being on a trip and getting a coolant leak

If it doesn't come with brackets, where can you get them? How are others mounting them? I have a saleen sc too and I don't see why thing wouldn't work with a modification to the existing hosing.

      • The Canton Aluminum Expansion Tank for Vortech and Paxton Superchargers will utilize the existing brackets from the super charger kit's expansion tank. If you are not running one of these superchargers, custom brackets would be required.

Will this work on my 2005 saleen? And how many ounces does it hold?

      • The Canton Aluminum Expansion Tank for Vortech/Paxton Superchargers (05-09 GT) is a universal tank for Vortech/Paxton supercharger setups. It can be used for other superchargers as well but this will not be a direct bolt on. You will have to make changes and modify your engine bay to make this Expansion Tank work correctly.
