Description
Twin Disc Clutch System. The Centerforce DYAD DS Organic/Carbon Twin Disc Clutch Kit with 9-Bolt Flywheel; 26-Spline delivers smooth engagement and high torque capacity. It is designed to handle torque loads from 500 to 1300 ft/lbs with light pedal effort suitable for performance applications. This setup improves drivability and RPM response, making it ideal for high-performance vehicles requiring reliable clutch operation under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This clutch kit features a billet steel flywheel combined with a nodular iron pressure plate and organic segmented friction facings with a carbon composite disc material. The pressure plate incorporates a patented centrifugal weight system and ball bearing actuation for enhanced clamp load and reduced pedal effort. Components are precision-machined, assembled in the USA, and finished with a blackened or natural metallic texture for durability and aesthetic appeal.
Installation. Installation requires standard clutch replacement procedures with no additional drilling needed. The kit is match balanced and comes complete with ARP fasteners, pilot bushing, mounting hardware, and an alignment tool for a straightforward installation experience.
Application. This clutch kit is specifically designed to fit the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 produced between 2009 and 2013. It accommodates the 6.2L supercharged engine and 6-speed transmission with a 9-bolt crank flange and 26 spline input shaft configuration.
