      Description

      Race-Inspired Style. It is easy to upgrade the style of your older 1983-1986 Mustang to that of a show-stopping, racing style by replacing your stock hood. Cervini’s 4-inch Cowl Induction Hood adds an aggressive, race-inspired look to your Mustang that will make it stand out from the rest. This hood features a pre-cut rear air vent at the rear that allows for the extraction of heat from below the hood. The built-in cowl begins flush at the front and gradually inclines to its full height of 4-inches at the rear.

      High-Quality Construction. Cervini’s uses high-quality fiberglass to build this 4-inch cowl induction hood. A steel inner frame and fiberglass inner lining add strength and rigidness to the hood for years of dependable use.

      Direct Fit. This cowl hood is designed to be a direct fit for your Mustang. Because it is unfinished, you will need to have it prepped, primed and painted before final installation. A pre-fit should be performed prior to painting. This hood reuses your car’s original hinges, latching system and bumper stops.

      Cervini’s Warranty. This cowl hood comes with Cervini’s 90-day limited warranty for their fiberglass products. Cervini’s warrants that your new hood will be free from defects in workmanship and materials during the first 90 days of ownership.

      Application. Cervini's Unpainted 4 in. Cowl Induction Hood is designed to fit all 1983 to 1986 Ford Mustang models.
