Hey, guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with my review of these Chrome Stock Replacement Headlights for 1999 through 2004 Mustangs. These headlights are gonna be a good option for those guys out there that are looking to keep things simple and clean. These are stock replacement headlights, with no halos or LEDs, or anything of that nature, so we're just talking about a very clean and simple look. These are gonna be a great option if you're looking to replace damaged or weathered headlights and you're not looking for a smoky look or to spend a ton of money. These headlights have a chrome housing, and that's what's gonna help give that really clean appearance. The lenses are just clear, so there's nothing to get in the way of the reflection that the chrome housing is going to create. All of the other styling in this headlight is identical to the stock headlight. You don't have any additional bulbs, LEDs, halos, or smoked anything with this headlight. The ribbing in the housing and on the lenses is also the same as factory, and you can see that these are gonna maintain the amber corners as well. What's nice about these headlights is that they offer an easier way to clean up the looks of your car. A lot of guys like the factory headlights, but they do yellow and look weathered over time, which just kills the looks of the car. You can't really have a clean looking car with yellowed and faded headlights, at least not in my opinion. So instead of spending a ton of time and some cash on products that may or may not work to clean up and buff out your headlights, these headlights are budget-friendly enough to offer an easier solution. One thing I will note here is that these headlights do not come with new bulbs. You need to either reuse your current headlight bulbs or you can upgrade to some 9007 bulbs which I do tend to recommend because they're a nicer bulb and they just complete the look of the new headlights. The other thing I'm gonna recommend is to run a bead of silicone around the housings where the lenses meet. This is gonna keep out any condensation and get the headlight sealed. As far as price, these headlights are gonna be one of the most affordable options on the site. They are that factory replacement that I mentioned earlier, so there's no extra bells and whistles. You'll look at spending just over $120 for a set of these, which is very affordable in the headlight world. Like I mentioned earlier, these are gonna save you the time and the effort of trying to restore your old headlights. When it comes to the install, you can expect to spend about a half hour. I'm gonna call this a one out of three wrenches on the scale. You're gonna need some basic hand and wiring tools to get this done, but nothing out of the ordinary. There isn't a whole lot to getting headlights out and into these cars, just some tabs and bolts. So it doesn't get much easier. There are some headlight retaining clips on each headlight, and of course you have to pull the bulbs and the harness from the old headlights and swap in your new bulbs if you are replacing or upgrading them. Once the old headlights are out, you can install the new lights by locking in the bulbs and adjusting the headlights to have a snug fit. You want to make sure they're not sticking out and that you can get to the retaining clips. And keep in mind that you might have to aim these after the install if you want the best view at night. But the adjustment process isn't difficult either.Wrapping things up, these Chrome Stock Replacement Headlights are a very affordable option for those of you that are looking for a simple and clean headlight. They retain the stock styling and offer a fast and easy alternative to try and restore your factory headlights. You can check these out more online for yourself. And for all things Mustang, keep it right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

2003 chrome headlights
received the headlights and looks real nice. Applied silicone adhesive to the lens seams (as recommended by AM tech rep and customers reviews). When finished with the driver side light, I started with the driver side and noticed some staples on the rubber above the amber lens. I know I cannot return the items 'cause I altered it by applying adhesive to one side. I installed the lights and of course there's a gap and staples showing. Quality control is ????. It should not have been shipped. I don't know if I have to eat it or A.M. will make good to it when I have comms with them.Helpful (0)

Beautiful new look
I bought these for a 1999 mustang v6. They are crisp and clear and gave it a great new look. This is the second replacement pair I've put on the first pair started to shed its skin after a year, they were cheap. I will come back and give these 5 stars if they hold up better.Helpful (5)

A must for stock faded headlights
Fitment was good but the bulbs were a little tricky to install due to the ring that holds them in being a little tight. Perfect match to stock headlights.Helpful (4)

When do you guys have a clearance sale again?
Do they need to be sealed with silicone to keep moisture out of the housing?
These headlights should be able to keep out moisture effectively. Though, you can certainly seal the housing with silicone to give them extra protection.
Is the headlights glass or plastic.
Hi, The lens on these headlights are made of plastic.
Hi, The number on these Chrome Stock Replacement Headlights is a DOT number, Any headlights ordered from our website will be DOT SAE, There are not that many manufactures that sell Euro union spec headlights for the Sn95 Mustangs, All headlights will need to have the DOT number on the glass.
The Axial Chrome Stock Replacement Headlights only offer a vertical adjustment. Horizontal adjustment is not allowed by law.
