    Features & Details

    • Great Custom Styling.
    • Extra Brake Light for Safety.
    • Durable Black Vinyl Exterior.
    • Sturdy Tubular Steel Construction.
    • Fits All 94-98 Mustang Convertibles.
Custom Styling. Give your SN95 convertible a modern, sporty look with a Classic Design Concepts Convertible Light Bar. The CDC Light Bar gives your 'Vert an aggressive look that will turn heads when the top is down but fits perfectly under your ragtop in bad weather.

Additional Safety. CDC designed this styling bar to provide additional safety by incorporating a high mounted LED brake light that is highly visible to all vehicles following behind you day or night.

Superior Quality. The Classic Design Concepts light bar is constructed of a sturdy 1 ΒΌ” round steel tube, with a 1/8” wall thickness. The polyurethane mold is then wrapped with a durable weather resistant midnight black vinyl that features the same grain texture as the Ford OE interior for a perfect match.

No Welding Required. Installation can be completed in a couple of hours in the comfort of your own driveway with basic hand tools and there is no welding required. The CDC Light Bar simply bolts to the B pillar for a sturdy mount that also helps stiffen your Mustang to reduce body flex.

Application. The Classic Design Concepts Light Bar fits perfectly on all 1994 to 1998 convertible SN95 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, and Cobra models.

does the interior lights come on when you open doors?

        • This lightbar will not affect the OEM factory lighting and they would work like they do currently. The light on this part will come on when the brake pedal is pushed.

I drive my 96 GT vert with the driver's seat all the way back, and the seat back tilted pretty far back too. Is this going to be an issue with a light bar installed, with either the seat or seatbelt?

        • This light bar will install on the B-pillar which would still allow you to move your seats back as well as recline them without an issue.

            CDC Classic Light Bar

This is my second CDC light bar that I purchase. It makes your convertible look so much better when the top is down. The only downside is that you are always stuck with the break light on, unless you install an aftermarket switch to stop it from working while the top is up. The fit was perfect, I took it to a performance shop to get it installed and it cost me just as much as that light bar itself, so be prepared for that expense. It took about five hours to professionally install this light bar. It definitely makes your mustang stand out, at night the break light is really bright.

The car looks complete with the top down.

I bought the bar from AM since it was $73 cheaper than buying it directly from CDC. I then drove the bar out to CDC in wixom MI and paid them to install it...$160. Took them under 2hrs and it came out flawless. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

            Must have!

CDC has a great product here! Really makes the car stand out. Takes some patience to install, but well worth it when complete. Recommend to anyone that wants to take there convertible to the next level.

            95 Cobra Light Bar

This is a great looking light bar, the installation was not bad if you follow the tech tips. It looks great after installation and I'm very pleased. Remember if you do it yourself take your time and check all measurements. Also a side note if you get the module I wanted the spoiler 3rd light and the light bar light to work together when the top is down, Tie the black and white together on the module, along with your travel wire ( single wire) to the spoiler 3rd light and tie in. Both work with the top down and just the spolier 3rd light with the top up.

Lightbar for my 95 Mustang GT

The first lightbar we recieved had some scratches and a tear but when we called American Muscle they asked me to send pics which I did send pics on my iPhone and they very quickly verified and shipped my new lightbar and a shipping label was emailed to me to return the damaged one. UPS delivered and the box was beat up pretty bad. I am very happy with the lightbar it looks great and was somewhat difficult to install using the templates provided. We were nervous about making the cuts in the panels but it turned out well. The wiring was easy thanks to my husbands's experience with cars. I would definitely recommend American Muscle's products and we are very happy with our product. We also purchased the light bar swich was a snap to install and hook up and the lightbar is functioning fantastically.

Install was not too bad ...

The templates were a little hard to line up. I should have drilled a little higher and a little closer to the rear for the 1 3/4 holes on the interior panel. Instructions on American Muscle helped a lot. The bar fits perfect and does a good job covering the holes. Wish I would have done it a long time ago.

            Unique

This was the first mod to my new (to me) 96 GT. Didn't want to screw up the interior so I took it to a shop to install. $375 with the switch. Not another ride on the street like it. HOT!!

            amazing!

Stand out from the rest! This has to be a must. I\'m not one with many tools so I took it to a shop to get it put in. It took them about 3/4 hours and it cost $300.
