How to Install a C&L Cold Air Intake on Your 2015-2016 EcoBoost Mustang

Step 1:  

- Begin by removing the 10mm  bolt that holds the air box to the  fender (Reuse the rubber grommet).

- Remove the Intake air sensor plug  and wiring retaining clip.  

- Remove the bypass valve tube  and PCV hose.  

- Loosen the clamps on the turbo  and air box side of the intake tube.  

- Remove Intake tube and Air box.

Step 2:  

Install the filter adapter through  the air box using three 1⁄4” button  head screws and washers.

Step 3:  

- Remove the IAT sensor from the  air box by turning it counter  clockwise.  

- Replace the OEM o-ring with the  supplied

Step 4:  

-Secure the Intake Air sensor using  the supplied large washer and  machine.  

- Assemble the silicone hump hose  with 2 large hose clamps.

Step 5:  

-Install the supplied grommet and  PCV adapter.  

-Install the reduction silicone  coupler, and slide on the loosened  hose clamps.

Step 6:  

- Install the air box using the  factory fender bolt.  

- Then install the air filter.  

- Remove the protective film from  the air box window and lid before  installing with (6) 1⁄4” button head  screws and washers.  

- Install the small end of the inlet  tube on the turbo inlet, then the  PCV hose and bypass hose.  

- Connect the large end to the air  box.  

- Reconnect the Intake sensor and  plug the wiring harness clip into  the air box.
