Description
Optimized Performance for Manual Cars. This hydraulic roller camshaft boosts midrange torque and horsepower without sacrificing idle quality, making it perfect for spirited manual-transmission drivers. The lobe profiles offer smooth engagement, crisp throttle response, and strong power gains between 2,500 and 6,500 RPM, enhancing acceleration and passing ability.
Complete Valve-Train Package. Supplied with matching lifters, valve springs, and retainers, this kit ensures proper geometry and durability under boost or naturally aspirated conditions. The hardened steel construction and precision machining maintain accuracy and reduce wear over extended service.
Installation. Drain engine oil, remove timing cover and timing chain, install the camshaft with lifters, set timing per instructions, install the spring kit, priming the oil system before the initial start.
Application. The Comp Cams FSL 210/222 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits 2010–2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS models equipped with a manual transmission.
