Description
Optimum Performance for the Street and Track. Take the next step in performance with the Comp Cams Stage 1 LST 227/238 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Kit. This stage 1 camshaft kit’s exclusive Low Shock Technology is characterized by lobe profiles designed to optimize power and torque while providing smooth operation even when driven hard. This translates to improved performance for the track and outstanding manners for the street. This kit also includes all the components necessary for an efficient installation.
ECU Re-Tuning Advised. While this camshaft kit is perfectly at home if used as a daily driver, its redesigned cam lobe profiles can change engine airflow. This, in turn, can trigger a check engine light. If this occurs, it is advisable to have your ECU re-tuned. Plus, re-tuning your ECU can potentially unlock the full benefits of this kit which is always a good thing.
Does Not Have a CARB EO Number. This stage 1 LST series camshaft kit does not have a CARB EO number at this time. This means the kit cannot be used in California and other states that have adopted CARB standards. Please check local laws for the permitted use of this kit.
