      Description

      Performance Timing Upgrade. The Comp Cams Adjustable Single Chain Timing Set 3172KT is engineered to deliver precise timing control for performance engine applications. Designed specifically for 1997-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5 and C6 models (excluding Z06 from 2006 to 2013), this set enhances valve timing accuracy and allows for fine-tuning of camshaft timing for optimal engine performance.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from hardened billet steel, the sprockets in this timing set offer exceptional durability and strength. The single-roller chain reduces rotational drag while maintaining reliability at high RPMs. Featuring a 9-keyway crank sprocket, the system allows up to 8 degrees of advance or retard in 2-degree increments, with a matte machined finish for a rugged, functional appearance.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge and tools. Drilling is not required, but removal of timing cover and access to the camshaft and crankshaft is necessary.

      Warranty. This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from Comp Cams.
