Description
Hydraulic Roller Camshaft. The Comp Cams LSR Centrifugal Blower 227/243 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft delivers strong midrange power, optimized for centrifugal blower setups. Specifically designed for GM LS GEN III/IV 3-Bolt 8-cylinder engines, this camshaft improves power delivery and engine response for both street and strip use.
Construction and Appearance. Built with precision, this camshaft features a hydraulic roller design engineered for durability and reliability. It has a finish optimized for smooth operation within the engine, ensuring consistent valve timing and lift throughout the RPM range of 2,200 to 7,000.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge and standard tools. No special drilling is necessary. The camshaft is designed to bolt directly into compatible GM LS GEN III/IV engines with the 3-bolt gear attachment.
Warranty. This camshaft includes a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Application. Fits 97-13 Corvette C5 & C6 without any exclusions or special compatibility notes.
