      Description

      High-Performance Intake Valves. The Comp Cams Sportsman Stainless Steel Intake Valves; 2.08 x 4.900 are engineered to enhance engine performance by improving airflow and durability. These valves are crafted for demanding street and competition engines, ensuring optimal function and longevity under high stress.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from 21-4N forged high-strength steel alloy, these valves feature hardened tips rated at a minimum of 50 HRc for superior durability. The chrome-plated 11/32" stems incorporate proprietary oil retention surfacing to improve lubrication rather than using simple plating, complemented by swirl-polished fillets which enhance airflow and resist cracking. The finish maximizes durability and performance under racing conditions.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians and requires no drilling or modifications. These valves fit directly into compatible hydraulic, mechanical, and roller lifter valve trains.

      Warranty. This product includes a 12-month warranty.

      Application. These valves fit the 97-04 Corvette C5, excluding the Z06 model, providing an effective upgrade option without fitment issues.
