It's the small things that matter

I've said it before...I'll say it again: It's the small things that matter. When you're restoring your 'stang and start taking things apart, you find things like this gasket that are brittle, cracking, broke and/or discolored. This is very easy to replace; open the trunk lid and remove the three screws (per side) and flip up the hinge to reveal the gasket. Clean the dirt and junk where the new one goes, and reverse order to finish up. Very easy indeed. DO NOT forget this easy and inexpensive part when you're replacing/restoring all your convertible's rear weatherstripping and trim pieces!!! Thanks AM.
