Description
Premium Molded Carpet. The Complete Cutpile Molded Carpet with Mass Backing in Torch Red is designed to replicate the original floor covering with enhanced durability and appearance. It restores or replaces worn carpet in the vehicle, improving interior look and comfort while protecting the floor pan.
Construction and Appearance. This carpet is made from 100% nylon with 40% more fiber than standard plus 50% increased weight for toughness and a luxurious feel. It features a cut pile texture in Torch Red with color-matched binding and a heat-sealed, color-keyed heel pad. The carpet is molded to precisely fit the floor pan and includes mass backing for added heat and sound insulation.
Installation. Installation may require minor trimming due to variations in factory interior options. The process is moderately straightforward and typically does not require drilling, allowing the carpet to fit directly into the vehicle’s floor contours.
Application. Specifically designed for the 01-04 Corvette C5 models, this carpet set fits both hardtop and convertible variants. Note that the carpeted plastic pieces for the tail light section are not included.
