Premium Molded Carpet. The Complete Truvette Molded Carpet with Mass Backing in Oak is designed as a direct replacement for the original carpet in Chevrolet Corvettes from 2001 to 2004. It fits precisely to the floor pan, providing an authentic look and long-lasting durability essential for maintaining the interior’s appearance and comfort in these vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 100% 6,6 nylon yarn called Raylon, the carpet is tufted to a 5/64 gauge with 14 ounces of yarn per square yard. It features a color-keyed heel pad heat sealed in place and includes optional mass backing that enhances heat and sound insulation while improving the visual appeal through its premium oak finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring only minor trimming in some cases to accommodate factory interior variations. The carpet is molded to fit the floor pan precisely, and no drilling or major modifications are typically needed.
