It is intended to be remotely mounted within the engine bay and is ideal for high horsepower, turbocharged, supercharged, and heavily worked engines that generate significant heat. This pump can replace or supplement the mechanical water pump to help increase power output and enhance coolant temperature management.
Construction and Appearance. Made from powder-coated aluminium, this pump offers robust durability and a corrosion-resistant finish. It features a ceramic face seal for extended service life and reliability under demanding conditions. The pump utilizes a clockwise centrifugal impeller housed in a volute chamber for optimized flow performance.
Installation. Installation requires replacing or supplementing the mechanical water pump and may involve drilling small holes in the thermostat plate depending on the setup. It can be moderately complex and sometimes necessitates routing alterations or mounting brackets to protect against vibration and ensure secure attachment.
Application. This pump is universally compatible but may need some adjustments to fit specific vehicle or engine configurations. It is not vehicle-specific and can be incorporated into various automotive cooling systems with proper customization.
