Description
Mechanical Thermal Switch Combo. The Davies Craig Mechanical Thermatic Electric Fan Switch Combo combines temperature sensing and control into a practical value pack. It monitors coolant temperature via a probe inserted in the radiator hose and controls electric fans or water pumps by activating them at a preset temperature, ensuring optimal engine cooling performance.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a mechanical thermal switch with a stainless steel probe, robust adaptor components, rubber sleeves, brass olives, and hose clamps. These materials combine to provide durability and a watertight seal, with the switch finished in a functional, corrosion-resistant design suitable for engine bay environments.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling or complex tools. The adaptor fits into the radiator hose after a short section is removed, making it simple to install with minimal mechanical experience.
Application. Designed to fit most radiator hoses with an inline sensor adaptor accommodating hose sizes from 32mm to 42mm through included or optional sleeves. Universal fitment requires some adaptation depending on hose size and configuration.
