Premium Stealth Tow Hooks. The 2014 Corvette Z51 Receivers & Premium Stealth Tow Hook set offers a highly functional and visually appealing solution for safe vehicle recovery and towing. Designed with racing and daily driving enthusiasts in mind, these tow hooks provide reliable connection points while maintaining a low-profile, sleek aesthetic. They facilitate towing or recovery without damaging the vehicle's bodywork, ensuring convenience during emergencies or track use.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted in the USA, these tow hooks are built from US billet aluminum for the D-ring, powder coated in a variety of colors, and employ clad steel hemi-joints attached to a durable stainless steel shaft using clad steel hardware. The meticulous machining, milling, and finishing processes result in a robust and precise assembly finished in vibrant, lasting colors such as red, black, blue, orange, gray, yellow, lime, and purple. Red and black options feature the 'Tow' and branding imprints, while other color options omit these for a cleaner look.
Installation. Installation requires removal of the front and rear bumpers to mount the accompanying receivers, making it a moderate task typically best suited for experienced users or professional installers. No drilling is necessary as the system utilizes existing mounting points and bolts securely with included hardware.
Application. This package is specifically designed to fit the 2014 Corvette Stingray and Z51 models that were built before December 14, 2014, and do not come equipped with stock OEM tow hook receivers. It excludes Z06 or Grand Sport models and any Corvettes with factory-installed receivers.
