Premium Stealth Tow Hook. The 2014 Corvette Z51 Receivers & Premium Stealth Tow Hook provides a sleek and functional solution for towing needs. It features single-sided access to the fastening bolt, making installation and removal efficient. Designed to enhance safety on the track and street, this tow hook ensures readiness for any towing situation with a stylish aesthetic.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from billet aluminum, the D-ring is powder coated in multiple color options including red, black, and paintable for custom finishes. The assembly includes a clad steel heim-joint connected to a stainless steel shaft secured with clad steel hardware. Every component is made in the USA, emphasizing high quality and precise manufacturing standards.
Installation. Installation requires removal of the front and rear bumpers to mount the receivers properly. While the process involves moderate effort and mechanical skill, no drilling is mentioned for installation.
Application. This tow hook system fits 2014 Corvette Stingray and Z51 models that were built before December 14, 2014, and that do not come with factory-installed receivers. It is not intended for Z06 or Grand Sport models or later production runs with OEM receivers.
