Description

Advanced Blind Spot Safety. The Radar Blind Spot System with Cross Traffic Detection enhances vehicle safety by monitoring blind spots and detecting cross traffic while reversing. It uses radar technology for precise speed and object detection to alert drivers to potential hazards, reducing accident risk and improving situational awareness during lane changes and parking maneuvers.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed with high-frequency 76 to 77 GHz radar sensors enclosed in a waterproof housing rated IP69, the system features durable components designed for harsh environments. The HMI displays amber warning lights on a black trim, combining functionality with a clean and professional look suitable for seamless vehicle integration.

Installation. Installation involves mounting sensors behind plastic rear fascias using external brackets and screws, with drill-in mounting required for the HMI unit. Though some technical skill is necessary, the design includes all necessary wiring harnesses to facilitate a straightforward installation process.

Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required due to the systemï¿½s incompatibility with metal bumpers. It is compatible with all vehicles having plastic bumpers but will not function properly on vehicles with metal rear fascias.
