Description
Premium Replacement Carpet. The Rear Truvette Molded Carpet with Mass Backing in Beige is an exact reproduction of the original carpet used in the early 1990s Corvette. It is designed to provide a durable and aesthetically pleasing covering for the trunk pan area of the vehicle, ensuring a factory-correct look and protection from wear and tear.
Construction and Appearance. This carpet is made from 100% 6,6 Nylon yarn known as Raylon, tufted to a 5/64 gauge with 14 ounces of yarn per square yard. The Truvette material is molded precisely to fit the trunk pan, offering excellent abrasion resistance, color retention, and reduced fiber shedding. The finish is beige in color with a textured surface replicating the original carpet.
Installation. Installation may require minor trimming in some cases due to factory interior variations, but no drilling or permanent modifications are usually necessary. The carpet is molded for a snug fit, simplifying placement and securing in the trunk area.
