      Description

      Oil Cooler Hose Kit. The DeWitts Engine Oil Cooler Hose Kit is designed to add oil cooler ports to GM LS engines by utilizing the factory bypass port located above the oil filter. This kit enhances engine protection by incorporating a built-in thermostat that maintains optimal oil temperatures, promoting faster warm-up times and reducing engine wear and horsepower losses.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the adapter features a durable black MIL-A-8625 Type II anodized finish for strength and corrosion resistance. It includes Viton seals and -10 AN fittings, providing robust, leak-free connections.

      Installation. The adapter bolts directly onto the factory LS engine without the need for drilling or modifications, preserving the stock oil filter location. Its design facilitates an easy connection to an aftermarket internal oil cooler.

      Warranty. This product is backed by a lifetime warranty.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1997-2004 Corvette C5 models, ensuring optimal compatibility without modifications.
