Features, Description, Q&A, Specs & Installation
Product Overview. The Diode Dynamics Front Turn Signal LED Bulbs for Toyota Tacoma are designed to replace factory incandescent bulbs with a modern LED alternative that delivers instant on-off illumination and increased brightness. These bulbs replicate the dual brightness behavior of the original 3157 bulbs, providing distinct output levels for parking/running lights and turn signals, enhancing both performance and appearance.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring advanced constant-current inductive circuitry with transient suppression, these bulbs guard against voltage spikes while ensuring reliable long-term durability. They are crafted with high-quality components tested to withstand rigorous automotive environments. Switchback variants emit white light for parking/running light functions and amber for turn signals but require clear reflectors or lenses for proper white light visibility.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and plug-and-play with the factory 3157 socket, requiring no bulb or socket modifications. However, due to the LED's reduced load, hyperblinking or error codes may occur, necessitating the installation of load resistors or compatible flasher relays (such as the LM449). Some wiring adjustments may be required to properly install these components.
Warranty. This product includes a comprehensive three-year replacement limited warranty for peace of mind and dependable support.
Application. These bulbs are specifically engineered to fit 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma front turn signal applications, providing a direct OEM fit and function without additional modifications. Note that fitment is vehicle specific and compatibility with clear lenses is necessary for switchback bulbs to display white light effectively.
