The Edelbrock AVS2 Series Carburetor with Manual Choke; 500 CFM; Satin Finish is engineered for small cubic-inch single carburetor setups, ideal for pairing with Performer or Performer EPS manifolds to optimize engine breathing. It provides smooth throttle response, calibrated fuel delivery, and ignition advance features suited for reliable and efficient street performance.

CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Crafted from high-quality aluminum, this carburetor features a durable satin finish that resists corrosion and adds an attractive, refined look. Its solid construction supports long-lasting functionality while maintaining precise fuel metering through carefully sized jets and metering rods.

INSTALLATION. Designed for straightforward installation, this carburetor requires no drilling and replaces existing square flange units easily. It is compatible with 1979-1983 5.0L Mustang models and works with Ford Automatic Overdrive Transmission (AOD) when used with the appropriate Lokar bracket. Note that the manual choke model cannot be converted to electric choke configurations.
