With Edelbrock Max-Fire Distributor, you have a ready-to-run distributor complete with all the fittings in one box. This product is perfect for replacing or upgrading from a points-triggered distributor, and it's an OEM-quality replacement that's also a guaranteed value for your money.

      Premium-Quality Construction. This distributor is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with O-ring grooves ideal for a fully-machined engine block. The cap and rotor are molded in a high-quality 30% glass-filled polyester to ensure durability and carbon tracking resistance. It also features brass contacts and a stainless steel rotor spring for optimum conductivity. The hardened iron drive gear allows for long service life and has a fully-adjustable mechanical and vacuum advance for extended mileage capability.

      Installation. This distributor is designed with precise machining to suit your factory engine system. The simple 3-wire hook-up allows easy installation without requiring an outside ignition control box. This product also includes a cap, rotor, retainer and mechanical advance curve kit.

      Warranty. The purchase of this kit comes with a limited 1-year warranty covering defects in material and production.

      Application. The Edelbrock Max-Fire Distributor is compatible with the 1979-1995 5.0L Ford Mustang models.
