can i run a 75mm throttle body with this? and will it be to much for a full bolt on gt?

slow03gt

  • The Edelbrock Low Profile Throttle Body Intake Elbow (99-04 GT) will work on a 75 mm throttle body, this will also require the use of the Edelbrock Victor Jr. EFI Intake Manifold (99-04 GT) for it to fit.

What do I do with my ICA!?

AustinH

  • The Edelbrock Low Profile Throttle Body Intake Elbow is designed to work with a 90MM Foxbody Mustang Throttle body. This style throttle body will have the IAC mounted to the throttle body, not the intake.

I have already deleted my egr but what do you do with the iac will the car run with out it if you purchase this elbow I have the efi victor jr intake manifold as well so I need a elbow but was looking to keep the iac valve

JoeJ

what do i do with the EGR????

Max

  • The Edelbrock Low Profile Throttle Body Intake Elbow and matching Edelbrock Victor Jr. EFI Intake Manifold are designed to work on a car where the EGR has been eliminated. In addition additional changes are needed, such as a 90mm Foxbody style throttle body, and changes to the IAC.

Im doing a camshaft upgrade, with the edelbrock intake manifold and low profile throttle body, what MM throttle body should I use to compensate for forced induction, and also where would my EGR valve connect to?

AframD

  • If you are going to run forced induction, you will want at least an 85mm or a 90mm throttle body to give you the best airflow rate into the intake. Also the EGR valve will not connect to this elbow.

    Elelbrock low profile Elbow

It was to large for my car (GT)with some mods, there would have been to much power loss down low. so I went with a 75mm set up (throttle body, elbow and new PP intake)better power down low 1500rpms also doing 30 lbs injectors new mass air new fuel rails, fuel pump and porting heads next year. I think that if you are going to road race your car on a track keeping your rpms above 3500 than it could work for you.

    throttle cable too short

i have the victor jr intake with edelbrock elbow and 90mm throttlebody and i put evewrything together but now it seems like that the throttle cable is too swhort and wont bolt onto the edelbrock plenum BECAUSE the positioning on the elbow is furthermore away from the throttle cable than the stock plenum how do i go about fixing this

    Great elbow

This is a great elbow and it looks great under your hood. It is a little bit on the heavy side but that doesn't really matter to me. It has a 90 mm Inlet and Outlet but it also gives you the option to use a 75mm throttle body which is what I'm currently using on it I like that it gives you the option on how you want to run it. Either to the left side the right side or straight forward.

    looks great!!

the low profile elbow looks great when the hood is open and brings in the air you need to supply your engine and does a great job matched with the Edelbrock intake manifold
