Performance Handling. These Eibach Pro-Kit Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. A set of Eibach Springs are great for daily driving, street, and even track use.

Classic Muscular Stance. Not only does a set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve it's overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.3" in the front and 1.4" in the rear to eliminate the huge tire to fender gap, for a classic muscular stance.

Progressive Design. Eibach's proprietary progressive spring design provides the ultimate balance to deliver aggressive good looks and high performance handling, without ever compromising safety or ride quality.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Eibach Pro Springs are specifically designed for use on 1994 to 2004 convertible GT Mustangs only. Not for use on coupes.

will these work with the staggered wheel and tires? I bought the staggered wheel and tire combo from you and want to know if I can use these springs? Also my car is an 01 GT convertible.

    • Definitely! You can use standard or staggered wheel and tires with this Pro-Kit. Our Wheel/Tire Packages fit without clearance or rubbing issues up to a 2" drop - this kit drops approximately 1.3” in the front and 1.4” in the rear. You won't have any problems!

I have long-tube Headers on my 04 GT and I'm concerned this will drop it to far. My wheels and tires are both stock but my current ride height I am unaware of. I'm told it was lowered (springs) and I have not had any problems so far aside from needing to replace them due to age. If you were to put these springs on a stock suspension would it endanger the long-tube headers / cats?

    • The Eibach pro-kit lowering springs will have enough clearance for your headers. However going over big bumps in the road or potholes I would be careful when going over.

Will these gt springs lower my v6 mustang Will these gt springs lower my v6 mustang

    • American Muscle has an Eibach Pro-kit for V6 Mustangs, it's labeled "Eibach Pro-Kit Springs (79-04 V8 Coupe; 99-04 V6 Convertible; Excludes 99-04 Cobra)" It is a different one than the one you mention here. Just to let you know, lowering a Mustang 1.5 inches more than likely will cause geometry changes in the suspension. I suggest you do more research on the internet about Mustang suspension. Look up caster camber plates and matching up struts/shocks to spring rates. This kit is a good starting point, but you may need to upgrade some other parts to get it right., Hope this helps

How necessary are caster camber plates? If I were to get these springs, how necessary would it be that I also get replacement caster camber plates?

    • General rule of thumb - any time you lower your car over 1 inch (which these springs do), you'll want caster camber plates to obtain proper alignment. If the geometry of your suspension can't be adjusted within stock specs, it can result in premature tire wear and poor handling. Stock suspension tends to lack enough adjustment to compensate for the new drop. Hope this helps!

      Good springs

I did notice an immediate improvement in how the car rides, but also feel the bumps a little more as well. I hope the front settles a little lower, but I’ve only had them on the car a couple hours lol.

      Nice Springs

Improved the handling greatly. A little bouncy at first, but they have mellowed out a bit in the past 1000 miles. I added the matching eibach shocks and struts, which also helped with the bounce. You sacrifice a little bit of ride quality but the better handling makes it worth it. Car sits and looks like it should now. Not a 4x4!

Ride is as expected, but after a year they still haven't lowered much at all especially on the front. It still has about the same amount of gap as the factory set.

      PERFECT RIDE

I think this was the perfect choice made my 95 GT Vert look the way it should, first day it looked about half inch but buy the 3rd day it was 1.5 all around, while keeping a great ride quality. I love it and could not be happier with my choice on this product

      WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN

The ride quality is the best characteristic these springs have but this is partly due to the bilstein shocks/struts which were put on the car at the same time. The handling is solid and predictable even with the stock sway bars. Now the drop??? These springs did not lower my car. When the car came down off the lift and a measurement taken from the wheel well to the ground the ride height was the same as it was before the install. For me there is no bang for the buck if lowering springs do not lower.

Good quality but wishing for more

Had the springs install on my 03 GT vert professionally when I was getting the Koni shocks and struts done. Added the caster/caber plates too. The description reads 1.5 drop, but looks like the car still sits high. I was limited in my options since I have a convertible.

      Solid but did not lower!

Just installed these over the weekend, with some Bilstein HD Series struts and shocks. Feels solid, nose no longer dives when braking, great cornering! Big disappointment, only lowered the rear by 3/4 inch and raised the front by 1/4 inch. Also installed the Maximum Motorsport Caster Camber plates and new set on SR Polyurethane front and rear Isolators. Hoping that the front will settle in a week! If not, ??? do not know what to do?? Stock GT Convertible with 17" rims, and stock 245/45R17.

Lowering springs that don't really lower

Springs have been in for three weeks. The reason I bought the springs was to lower the car. I checked before and after with a tape measure no drop. I have been checking every couple days and there is no change, except there is now a creaking sound. The springs were easy to install on a lift with proper compressor. The isolators were tricky to get off the old spring, but very possible if ur careful. Thant being said the car handles better, but not lowered. I am very experienced and installed the springs properly. If you wanna drop the height of your car don't buy these.

Impressed by the improved ride quality

The lowering turned out to be in the advertised range but I was really impressed with the improvement in ride quality. The handling seems better, I have new Nittos and the staggered wheels now, but ride is smooth until I don't want it to be. The lowering makes the car look right.

      • Response from AmericanMuscle

It can take a few weeks for the springs to fully settle to their complete drop. I've installed Pro-Kit Springs on my car as well and while I saw a difference after installation, I didn't see the full drop for about a month. Hope this helps!

      I LOVE these springs!!!

These should stock! I hated the 4 inch wheel gap i had on my 96 gt coupe and these springs did lower the car 1.5" inches all around, i measured. Installation was easy just watched youtube videos. Do it yourself. Save money. I just did 120 on the freeway and takes turns amazingly. Doesnt lean at all compared to stock. So much more control. Ride quality is even better than stock. Feel soft on streets, takes turns like a dream These springs gave me a great stance and im so glad i decided to buy them. Bought some 1.5" wheel spacers for the back to get rid of the tucked in wheels. Now my car looks mean. Thanks AM!

      Springs

We had alot of trouble with this install. Mainly because the bolt that goes thru the bottom part of the control arm got stuck. Apparently this is a common problem. The other side came out JUST FINE> but my drivers side gave us trouble. Alot of peoples' solution is to torch out the rubber around it and just buy a new piece. That was my last resort but we ended up removing the whole control arm, beating out the old one, and purchasing a new rubber fitting. ($30@dealer) After that the whole installation was done in 10 min(the rear) Overall, great product. This is my second ProKit purchase. I put this kit on my 01 Cobra, and my 03 GT. Really able to get around corners but still keep a smooth ride quality. Great product!
