      Description

Performance Handling. These Eibach Pro-Kit Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. A set of Eibach Springs are great for daily driving, street, and even track use.

Classic Muscular Stance. Not only does a set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve it's overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.3" in the front and 1.4" in the rear to eliminate the huge tire to fender gap, for a classic muscular stance.

Progressive Design. Eibach's proprietary progressive spring design provides the ultimate balance to deliver aggressive good looks and high performance handling, without ever compromising safety or ride quality.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Eibach Pro Springs are specifically designed for use on 1994 to 2004 convertible GT Mustangs only. Not for use on coupes.

        Stance looks great, easy install

Installed the Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my 2000 GT convertible and got about a 1" drop after install, looks good now, should look even better after I get a few miles on them to settle them in! Shipping was quick from American Muscle I'll be purchasing the sway bars from AM also!

5 1998 GT - Speedyg Installation Time: Full Day

        Quality product

Got a good 1.5 in drop all the way around. The rides not too harsh but it is definitely different after lowering. Will need alignment plus camber bolts after.

Definitely improved the look and handling of the car, but I was hoping it would lower the car a little more.

4 2004 GT - TroyC Installation Time: Afternoon

        Good springs

I did notice an immediate improvement in how the car rides, but also feel the bumps a little more as well. I hope the front settles a little lower, but I’ve only had them on the car a couple hours lol.

        5 1994 GT - RyanB

        Nice Springs

Improved the handling greatly. A little bouncy at first, but they have mellowed out a bit in the past 1000 miles. I added the matching eibach shocks and struts, which also helped with the bounce. You sacrifice a little bit of ride quality but the better handling makes it worth it. Car sits and looks like it should now. Not a 4x4!

3 2003 GT - DavidN Installation Time: Afternoon

not low enough for the hastle

was really disappointed how the front sat...I will say the ride with the new shocks made a world of difference but if you want the lower look go with the sport line

will these work with the staggered wheel and tires? I bought the staggered wheel and tire combo from you and want to know if I can use these springs? Also my car is an 01 GT convertible.

      • Definitely! You can use standard or staggered wheel and tires with this Pro-Kit. Our Wheel/Tire Packages fit without clearance or rubbing issues up to a 2" drop - this kit drops approximately 1.3” in the front and 1.4” in the rear. You won't have any problems!

I have long-tube Headers on my 04 GT and I'm concerned this will drop it to far. My wheels and tires are both stock but my current ride height I am unaware of. I'm told it was lowered (springs) and I have not had any problems so far aside from needing to replace them due to age. If you were to put these springs on a stock suspension would it endanger the long-tube headers / cats?

      • The Eibach pro-kit lowering springs will have enough clearance for your headers. However going over big bumps in the road or potholes I would be careful when going over.

Bump Steer 2000 Muastang GT Convertible Will a Bump Steer Kit be requied if installing Eicbach Pro-Kit Springs

      • It ceratinly wouldn't hurt anything but i have installed the pro kit on 2 of my mustangs now and never had an issue. The prokit is a pretty mild lowering kit; your not "slamming" it if you will.

Will these gt springs lower my v6 mustang Will these gt springs lower my v6 mustang

      • American Muscle has an Eibach Pro-kit for V6 Mustangs, it's labeled "Eibach Pro-Kit Springs (79-04 V8 Coupe; 99-04 V6 Convertible; Excludes 99-04 Cobra)" It is a different one than the one you mention here. Just to let you know, lowering a Mustang 1.5 inches more than likely will cause geometry changes in the suspension. I suggest you do more research on the internet about Mustang suspension. Look up caster camber plates and matching up struts/shocks to spring rates. This kit is a good starting point, but you may need to upgrade some other parts to get it right., Hope this helps

How necessary are caster camber plates? If I were to get these springs, how necessary would it be that I also get replacement caster camber plates?

      • General rule of thumb - any time you lower your car over 1 inch (which these springs do), you'll want caster camber plates to obtain proper alignment. If the geometry of your suspension can't be adjusted within stock specs, it can result in premature tire wear and poor handling. Stock suspension tends to lack enough adjustment to compensate for the new drop. Hope this helps!
