Performance Handling. These Eibach Pro-Kit Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. A set of Eibach Springs are great for daily driving, street, and even track use.

Classic Muscular Stance. Not only does a set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve it's overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.2" in the front and 1.0" in the rear to eliminate the huge tire to fender gap, for a classic muscular stance.

Progressive Design. Eibach's proprietary progressive spring design provides the ultimate balance to deliver aggressive good looks and high performance handling, without ever compromising safety or ride quality.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Eibach Pro Springs are specifically designed for use on the 1983 to 1993 5.0L V8 convertible Mustangs, including the LX and GT models.

    Ask a Question

Will I need Caster camber plates with this slight drop? Does the 1.2" drop in the front make it difficult to align afterwards?...If Caster Camber Plates are necessary, I would rather do it at the same time...

    91LXVERT

    • Generally speaking, when dropping your car approximately 1 inch, you can usually get your car aligned without much difficulty without the caster camber plates. I have the Pro-Kit on my car also, dropped it about 1" and didn't have any issues with realignment. You do want to replace your front and rear spring isolators though when swapping our your springs! The old stock ones are worn and cracked by this point and the new polyurethane isolators will last much longer and prevent any unwanted noise!

Install was good. Much better rates than stock. Using on a fox with SN95 arms/spindles. About 2.5" front drop.

I had these installed by a great shop here locally. The mechanic said that everything I had purchased and brought forninstallation fit well and was great quality. That was certainly good to hear from him. The Eibach springs are a vast improvement to the 30 year old stock springs and set the car down for a better look. They seem to handle very well although I did several upgrades at the same time so they all complement each other I'm sure. I went with SR caster/camber plates with these. I do now have front wheel contact issues on the A arms with both the stock 15" wheels and the upgrade Cobra 17's so am now playing with wheel spacers and steering limiters. The car drives much better and handles great now. List of upgrades: Eibach lowering springs SR caster/camber plates MM Subframe connectors-Weld in BBK strut tower brace Billet aluminum trans brace New front rotors and calipers

      Nice ride

Don't feel every bump with these. I would recommend at MTT8 from maximum motorsports is you are installing them on your own. Pay $16 vice $250 to have a shop do it!

      Eibach pro-kit

Easy to order and the product came fast. I could not have asked for anything better. When it comes to performance and looks this product is first class. 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear give the fox body less of a 4x4 look and a mean stance that has been turning heads since I got it. I had a shop install due to not finding the right spring compressor. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a mix of performance and styling.

      Nice springs

It took me a little while to get them installed. I had to use a spring compressor and modify it with a spacer. The springs ride pretty nice, stiffer and more responsive than stock. I do have to install camber plate I am -1.8 out.

      great enhancement for your fox.

I love the eibach pro kit springs. The car sits perfect and rides much more steady. The price is also very reasonable. The springs fit in car very easy but it is best done on a lift. I recommend professional install unless you have own lift and are very handy. May need a hand from a friend at times. These are my 7th or 8th set of eibachs I have used on different mustangs. Always very happy.

      Eibach Springs

Made my 1983 Mustang GT Converitble ride like a new car. Help me with handling with my 245/45/17s tires, makes the car look great too. Cornering is like a go cart, no lean at all and hugs the the corners like on rails. Amazing handling yet comfortable ride for a sports car.

      Not sure

I installed the kit on my convertable the front is fine but rear seems to sag below the front about 1 in. Replaced isolators but still sagged. Reinstalled rear springs. Now happy with the look.
