The Flowmaster 200 Series Catalytic Converter, featuring 2.25-inch inlet and outlet connections and 49-state legal compliance, is engineered to deliver efficient exhaust emissions control for racing and vintage vehicle applications. It provides an effective emission solution for pre-OBDII vehicles and those used exclusively for competition, offering environmental benefits without compromising performance.
Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter includes a high-flow 200 cell metallic substrate housed within a durable stainless steel spun body. Its compact cylindrical shape, finished in natural stainless steel, enables installation in tight spaces while ensuring durability under severe-duty and high-temperature conditions.
Installation. Designed for slip-fit weld-on connections, installation requires moderate expertise and may necessitate custom adaptation. No clamps, gaskets, hangers, or mounting hardware are included. The absence of oxygen sensor ports makes this converter suitable primarily for pre-OBDII setups.
Application. This catalytic converter is universally adaptable, though some modification may be necessary to fit specific vehicle applications. It is not compliant with California or CARB emissions regulations and is intended solely for racing use or off-road vintage vehicles.
