        Love

I was teaching my sister how to change the filter and man my other filter that I replaced was so clogged we when pulled it off gas sprayed all over our faces. Thank goodness we were wearing safety glasses. It's been about two months since we replaced it and man my car is kicking butt. I'm getting an extra 1 to 2 miles a gallon. Just goes to show how important it is to change your fuel filter.

        OEM filter

Was definitely overdue, took off the old filter and gas running out of the input side looked like muddy water. Installed one once before and again at 84k miles along with new OEM plugs and Ford Performance coils. Performance reclaimed was shocking.

        5 2003 Mach 1 - Eminent

        Quality OEM Fit!

Needed a fuel pump for my Mach 1 and decided it would be a good time for a filter too! Great quality and fit, extremely simple installation. Just make sure you have the fuel line removal tools to get the lines off! Easy job and good product!

        Does the job

Bought this to replace the old filter in my 98 cobra and ever since I have noticed an increase of about 1 mpg. I guess it was time to change that old filter.

        Go with OEM!

The OEM is stainless and doesn't rust. Like many aftermarket ones do.

Would this fit my 03 Mach 1 Mustang? How often should be replace?

Is the fuel filter E85 compatible? Does this filter work with e85 fuel?

      • This filter was never deigned for E85. You'll need a filter with a stainless steel element.

Can replacing the fuel filter help resolve a hanging idle issue on a 2V? AIC valve has been replaced with OEM already with no vacuum leaks.

      • This may help, but we usually suggest taking this to a shop, as there could be something else going on that we are unaware of.

I have 2003 Saleen s281 Mustang will motorcraft oem fuel filter work how about the entire fuel system from fuel pump to injectors?

      • Unfortunately, Saleen didn't upgrade the fuel system or MAF like they should have for their cars. I would give the team at BAMA a call for recommendations and maybe even a tune to help pull it all together for you.
