Description

This clutch kit is designed to handle more power than stock clutches and can be used on full racing applications while remaining street friendly. With this installed on your ride, you’re sure to have more than enough power to suit your daily driving needs or the more demanding racing lifestyle.
Ready for Full Speed. This clutch kit by Ford features a 26-spline input shaft and a diaphragm style pressure plate with a centrifugal assist design. This results in an up to 25% increase in torque capacity, a much better performance than factory clutches. It also has a spring-hub mechanism that provides better shock absorption and a smoother operation.
Top-Notch Build. The Ford Performance Clutch features an all-organic disc construction. The disc has a carbon/copper lining on the flywheel side and a carbon lining on the pressure side. It features a slightly thinner construction to make for a quicker release, which then translates to having more power to ground faster.
Application. This Ford Performance Clutch is designed for use when installing M-7003-TKX68 and M-7003-TKX81 transmissions into 1996-04 4.6L Mustangs with production 11” flywheel or Ford Performance flywheels M-6375-F46A or M-6375-G46A.
Technical Note. Installation requires the use of stock style pilot bearing and throwout bearing. These two parts are not included in the kit.
