The Frozen Rotors Vented Front Rotor for high-performance S197 models is engineered to survive the extreme thermal loads of heavy-track use and high-speed deceleration. Specifically designed for Mustangs equipped with the factory 4-piston Brembo brake system, these 14-inch (355mm) rotors undergo a proprietary 60-hour cryogenic treatment. This process permanently restructures the iron at a molecular level, making the rotor significantly more resistant to the heat checking and surface cracking that often plagues heavy GT, Boss 302, and GT500 models during aggressive driving.

      Cryogenic Transformation of G3000 Metallurgy. Starting with premium G3000-series gray iron, the deep-freeze process transforms the metal's internal structure, converting softer austenite into dense, refined martensite. For the performance driver, this results in a rotor with superior dimensional stability. By minimizing the internal stresses within the iron, Frozen Rotors virtually eliminate the risk of warping and pedal pulsation, ensuring a consistent, firm brake pedal even after repeated 100+ mph stops on a road course.
